چکیده
The purpose of this short scientific mission was to initiate a joint UST and UPC research work focusing on QoS management in OBS networks. Particularly, a framework for QoS management architecture have been discussed and proposed during the stay in Stuttgart. The main stress was put on definition of Classes of Quality (CoQ) for OBS networks and performance evaluation of selected QoS mechanisms. The problem of routing in OBS networks that initially had not been included into the STSM workplan has emerged in Stuttgart. Further collaboration on this topic has been initiated.
